TIMBERBOLT.COM OPEN PURCHASE ORDER PROCEDURE-(OPO)
An Open Purchase Order (OPO) is an order to buy unspecified items
(bolts, washers, etc.) as needed. It is intended to eliminate
small repetitive requests for expendable supplies, material or services
by allowing multiple pickups and billings for the discount associated
with on one bulk order. A specific amount of funds is encumbered for a
specified length of time for this purpose. The total amount of an OPO
with TimberBolt.com or Experiential Systems can not exceed $5,000.00
(including all change orders), and can be effective any dates between
July 1 and May 31 of the same fiscal year.
More Detail
Say you use 2,000 bolts a year, but typically only buy 100 at a
time to keep your monthly overhead costs down. An OPO is a contract to
purchase 2,000 bolts at an extended discount within one calendar year. When the last day of
your year approaches you will need to take receipt of all unshipped
items and pay the balance on your order. (if your OPO was for 2,000
pieces and you had only used 1,800.00 you would need to receive and pay
for the last 200 pieces by contract (OPO).
By placing an OPO you guarantee that we have your items in stock and
able to ship at the drop of a hat. No more waiting hassles with your
supplier being out of stock. We guarantee to have your OPO items in
stock.
Considerations for OPOs are:
1) no single purchase can exceed $5,000.00
2) items must be picked up by user or delivered directly to user
3) items that can not be purchased are:
* equipment that cost $500 or more
* hazardous or radioactive material
Companies or individuals that continuously abuse the open order
procedure will have their open order privilege revoked. |
